They Stay Silent, Not Out of Indifference
I can understand why some people pretended to bury their head in the sands no matter how atrocious things get. It’s all for the sake of self-preservation where it’s risky to speak up. They could be the next one buried by force when the bullets start flying.
When I understand how it felt living with the swords hanging over my head, I can’t blame people for staying quiet in those situations.
