The temporary nature of human connection is a fact of life.

People and relationships ebb and flow, constantly changing. It’s natural to feel the sting when connections end, regardless of the reason.

Some last a lifetime, while others pass us by in a fleeting moment. Each one, however brief, can leave a lasting impression, teaching us valuable lessons though not all are pleasant.

in life’s complicated web
we make choices of our own
losing some along the way
seeds of change are sown
perspectives, unique and varied
like seeds in the wind blown
each with their beliefs
the paths they’ve known

differences abound
it’s the fact of life
opinions and values
amid joy and strife
embrace the diversity
the moments that are rife
for we’re individuals
in this world
so rife

trust in your own judgment
your heart’s guiding beat
make choices aligned
with
